Facilitator Training Overview

Program Outcomes: (what participants can expect to learn)

  • The research foundation for the Kouzes & Posner Leadership Model (The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®).
  • Your own leadership behavioral tendencies through a personal Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI).
  • How to explain and interpret the LPI.
  • Workshop agenda and processes for the 2 and 3 day Leadership Challenge Workshop®.
  • Experiential activities that illustrate the practices and make them come alive.
  • How to conduct a powerful Leadership Challenge Workshop®.

Program Components: (what participants will do)

  • Complete a Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) and receive 360° feedback (if one has not already been completed by the participant).
  • Practice facilitating at least one module of the workshop and receive feedback from highly experienced facilitators.
  • Observe key workshop modules presented and participate in feedback and discussion.
  • Practice debriefing experiential activiteis.
  • View and discuss suggested videos.

Program Value: (what participants will take away)

  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Kouzes & Posner leadership model (The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®).
  • All the elements of s successful leadership development intervention with guidelines for customization.
  • Certificate of achieement as a Leadership Challenge Workshop® Facilitator.

Program Cost: (what participants will pay)

The tuition for the program is $2000 per person (this includes the Facilitator's Guide which retails for $1000).
